Rope and other expansive ties

I've recently had something come to my attention. So it's soap box time.

I was trying someone up and after everything was done, and they looked wonderful and gorgeous, it came time to untie.

I'm doing my thing but I see them exhibiting odd behavior they're trying to hide. I ask them what's wrong and they say that they're feeling claustrophobic. 

I ask if they need to be cut out and they say no because the rope is expansive.

Now, FULL STOP.

This is where my soap box begins.

I don't care if the rope costs thousands or millions, the person in it is more important. I would whip out my scissors without a problem and cut up my handy work if something is not ok. If the submissive is panicky or doesn't feel good or, in this case, feels claustrophobic. I don't care about the price of my damn rope! The person tied up is the priceless one not some rope! Rope can be replaced. The person can't. 

I like to give pleasure not anxiety. 

Fuck the rope. If I have to I'll cut it up into little pieces. It matters not. As long as who is being tied up is feeling safe sane and happy. The person consented to a good experience not a panicked one. 

This, my dear subbies or those who just want to be tied up or doing the thing: 

FUCK THE ROPE the person's/people comfort that's being tied up is more important. And there's no need to feel sad about it if you say stop and need to be cut out ASAP.

The double standard

You gotta love the double standard when it comes to new submissive vs new Dominant.  New sub and all the Doms go "Shiny!" New Dom and all the subs go "Stranger danger!" However, it's understandable. A lot relies on a Dom. And how much they will accidentally make a mistraks that could deeply injure a sub. While subs run on a "Shiny" frenzy and wanna try everything at once because it's so great and new and omg! Chill. To which I say mentorship should still be a thing. I strongly urge people to do that because having a good guide in the dark is very good in this lifestyle. Someone who teaches you what not to do or to do and why or where not or what can go wrong and why. It's much better than making that huge mistake by yourself with a sub and both don't know what went wrong, how, or why.
